This document includes brief reviews of 8 different strategies for effective dissemination, some from PCORnet CDRNs and studies, others from published papers and policies.   They summarize these strategies into a list of 5 things that you can do to ensure that community members benefit from your research.

    1. Use common language and practices.
    2. Communicate your study results back to your study participants.
    3. Be culturally sensitive regarding native language and experiences.
    4. Make your dissemination materials accessible in multiple ways (e.g., print, online)
    5. Integration people in the research process from the beginning.
