PCRF Transition Workgroup RecommendationsPublic Group active 1 year ago
Dear PCORnet Colleagues,
As previously communicated, the Transition Workgroup has been asked to provide the People-Centered Research Foundation (PCRF) Board with recommendations to address Membership, Governance, Research, and Business Development in PCORnet 2.0. Draft recommendations are now ready for your review and are attached and also located in the “PCRF Transition Feedback Forum” group on the Commons (here).
Please review these recommendations and send written feedback to me via email by no later than Thursday, June 29th. All feedback will be reviewed by the Transition Workgroup and shared with the Network.
So that you can be prepared and also so that you can offer any feedback, attached also please find the draft application for membership. We are not asking you to complete the application at this time, but simply to review and provide feedback. Once all recommendations are finalized and we have a better sense of timeline, a deadline will be established for submission of applications.
The draft timeline for activity is:
• June 29th – Comments are due to the Workgroup
• July 10th – Changes will be made and documents released to the Network and the PCRF Board
• August 1st (estimated) – The Board will accept or make modifications to the recommendations
Dependent on the extent of modifications suggested by the Board, we expect that final materials will be released around mid-August, with applications due six weeks after release.
Finally, we recognize that there are outstanding questions about the PCRF budget and financial implications for applicant members. We are actively working to revise the budget model and will share as soon as it is available.
On behalf of the Transition Workgroup (Betsy Shenkman and Sharon Terry, co-chairs, and Tom Carton, Adrian Hernandez, Rainu Kaushal, Kiely Law, Mitch Lunn, Peter Margolis, Robert McBurney, Kathleen McTigue, Russell Rothman)
